Retreat Synopsis in a Nutshell

When birth arrives, we become Earth; when we die, we return to Earth.

This Post-EUROTAS Symposium Ceremonial Transformative Group Retreat invites participants on a profound journey into the depths of your incarnation. A tapping into your original essence in the process of awakened incarnations—a coming home to becoming Earth. When birth arrives, we become Earth; when we die, we return to Earth. During the Ceremonial Transformative Group Retreat, we create a sacred space and form a sacred circle aligned within a medicine wheel. All approaches are seen as medicine, and you yourself are the medicine. Within an integral approach, the ceremonial medicine modalities include trauma-informed transgenerational timeline work, bodywork, creative expression, sound, music, voice, dance, shamanic journeying, and guided trance mediation, working with expanded states of consciousness, as well as outdoor rituals.

After the Symposium (in the same venue), we begin in the evening with teachings and embodied practices, exploring pre- and perinatal birth imprints through a transgenerational and transpersonal framework. Participants will engage in both individual and collective inquiry into these patterns, situated within a multidimensional field of relationality, including patterns of sacred love relationships, sacred sexuality, conscious parenthood, honouring and remembering the ancestors, and caring for the future generations. This shared wisdom field prepares and distils the themes carried into the following day of healing and empowerment. The second day forms the heart of the retreat: A day-long Ceremonial Journey that works with different modalities of expanded states of consciousness, including pre- and perinatal imprints, held in a safe, ethical, and loving container. Participants are guided to tap into deeper layers of remembrance, transforming imprints into awakened resources on individual and collective levels. The evening culminates in a community celebration—gathering by the fire through song, music, storytelling, and shared sacred relatedness. The Group Retreat concludes on the third day with a guided integration process that spans the whole morning, incorporating bodywork, creative expression, and nature-based rituals. This process anchors insights into daily life, inviting participants to fall in love again—and again and again—with yourself, with each other, and the more-than-human living world.

This Post-EUROTAS Symposium Ceremonial Group Retreat is a call to carry our light into the world, so that goodness and peace may prevail—for the benefit of all relations—for all times.

The impact of pre-peri-natal early life experiences on human development

Pre- and perinatal (traumatic) imprints are frequently overlooked in clinical practice and research, despite their profound influence across the lifespan. As Jung observed, modern humanity suffers from dissociation—human nature estranged from Nature, instinct, and the archaic wisdom that once honored all life as sacred. When birth arrives, we become Earth; when we die, we return to Earth. While Pre- and Perinatal Birth Psychology has opened essential pathways of understanding, a transpersonal and transgenerational perspective offers a more encompassing lens, integrating body, mind, spirit, culture, and Nature.

Dr. Regina U. Hess will lay out her developed approach with theoretical foundations interwoven with practical applications and experiential self-work intensive during the Retreat.

A trauma-informed transpersonal methodology is advanced that embraces both non-substance practices—shamanic journeying, meditation, bodywork, dance, music—and psychedelic-assisted ceremonies. These modalities midwife the remembrance and transformation of transgenerational pre- and perinatal patterns, turning wounds into resources for embodied, heart-centered, awakened incarnations. Relationality emerges as a universal archetype, restoring bonds with ancestors, community, Nature, and the future generations of the more-than-human world. Specific importance is given to the analysis and transformation of the multidimensional field of relationality, including transgenerational patterns of sacred love relationships, sacred sexuality, conscious parenthood, honoring and remembering the ancestors, and caring for the future generations.
