Awakening to Harmonious Interbeing Through the Ethics of the Heart: Integrity, Respect, Reciprocity, and Responsibility
In a time of profound global crisis and possibility, Birthing an Ancient Future Initiatives, Events, Educaton - invite for a living inquiry into how we may awaken to harmonious interbeing—a conscious, heart-centered way of living grounded in the ethics of integrity, respect, reciprocity, and responsibility. Drawing on transpersonal, somatic, and ancestral traditions, such a framework provides a structure for exploration and application how embodied awareness, expanded consciousness, and nature-based ritual can catalyze personal and planetary transformation. Interweaving individual, collective, planetary healing and empowerment, intercultural narratives, and spiritual activism, this integral approach offers a transdisciplinary lens on ethical realignment and planetary transformation. It is a call to revitalize sacred relationailty by reweaving ancient wisdom and enacting a new ethical paradigm for a regenerative, soul-led future.
Dr. Regina U. Hess is a clinical psychologist from Germany with a joint Ph.D. in transpersonal psychology (USA/UK). Internationally rooted and integrally engaged as a transpersonal scholar, sacred activist, and ceremonial alchemist, devoted to bridging Indigenous wisdom traditions with cutting-edge (psychedelic) science in service of heart-centered, harmonious, and interconnected ways of living, grounded in respect, reciprocity, and responsibility for the greater good of all beings.
Founder of Birthing an Ancient Future – Multidisciplinary Council of Peace-Builders, Dr. Hess, co-creates global spaces of healing and remembrance through transformative ceremonial retreats and transcultural education, catalyzing sacred action for planetary peace. She teaches internationally, including with the Alef Trust (UK) and transpersonal training institutes, and serves in leadership roles on the Boards of EUROTAS and the International Transpersonal Association. She is currently Vice President of the European Transpersonal Association (ETPA).

Birthing an Ancient Future is a sanctuary for transformation, a global movement of soul remembrance, and a multidisciplinary council devoted to cultivating a new paradigm of living, rooted in ancient wisdom, spiritual embodiment, and conscious collective evolution.
At the heart of Birthing an Ancient Future is a transformational principle: True global peace begins within.
A conscious way of living is not a luxury but a necessity. It is the daily practice of awakening to our interdependence, choosing presence over separation, responsibility over avoidance, and sacred action over disconnection. When individuals transform, they become vessels of clarity, compassion, and vision. When communities transform, they become catalysts for collective resilience and regeneration.
This is the essence of Birthing an Ancient Future Global Peace-Builders: not merely the cessation of conflict, but the creation of cultures rooted in wholeness, reverence, and right relationship—with Self, Earth, and all our relations.
Birthing an Ancient Future offers sacred spaces for this transformation to unfold through immersive experiential retreats, transformational training programs, global ceremonial gatherings, educational conferences, and events. These include signature events such as the 2023 EUROTAS Global Hybrid Symposium and Plant Medicine Ceremony, the annual EUROTAS Conferences, and the upcoming EUROTAS Mexico 2025 Pre-Conference Transformative Retreat.
In these spaces, participants are invited into deep inner work—engaging body, psyche, and spirit through trauma-informed modalities such as sacred movement, bodywork, voice, art, nature rituals, sacred sexuality, and therapeutic work with expanded states of consciousness. These are not passive experiences but initiatory journeys—designed to awaken, realign, and empower.
This transformational work is not personal alone—it is a collective responsibility, a sacred duty to future generations and the living planet. As individuals awaken, they are called to live more consciously, becoming stewards, peace-builders, and guardians of the sacred in everyday life.
